Colores Cerámicos de Tortosa, S.A. (CCT), a chemical company specializing in the manufacture of inorganic pigments, was founded in Tortosa (Tarragona) in 1974 as a subsidiary of the german company Reimbold und Strick, headquartered in Cologne since the late 19th century. This establishment in Tortosa allowed CCT to directly serve customers in the Spanish ceramics sector, primarily located in Castellón. In the following years, CCT expanded its operations to other countries and gradually increased its production, basing this growth on significant improvements and innovations in products and processes, making CCT a key company in the sector.
