FEM RECERCA
At ETSEQ, we promote research as a key tool in training engineers to tackle the challenges of the future. We offer a wide range of activities, workshops, and collaborations with secondary schools to bring research closer to new generations, foster scientific curiosity, and apply theoretical knowledge in a practical and innovative environment.
Fem Recerca Workshops
Our "Fem Reserca" program includes dynamic and practical workshops that address various engineering areas. Among the available workshops, the following stand out:
-
Sodium acetate production in a small-scale chemical plant: Design and optimize chemical processes simulating a real industrial environment."
-
Computer-assisted mechanical engineering: Discover the computer design and calculation tools that revolutionize engineering.
-
How do we choose the material of a scooter?: Learn the fundamentals of material selection and product design using simulations.
-
What are wingers for in racing cars?: Experiment with aerodynamics and wind tunnels to optimize vehicle performance."
-
Cheese and yogurt production in a small-scale industrial plant: It explores food bioprocess processes and designs systems for the dairy industry.
Initiatives to inspire the future
At the URV we offer a series of activities designed to inspire, motivate and guide young people in their academic and professional path. From the experience of research through summer activities to talks that bring science closer, we also offer support in academic guidance and in the discovery of vocations in areas such as technology and science. In addition, we encourage the participation of girls in disciplines where they are not yet so represented, creating spaces for equality and personal development.
