María Mas Chacón

Maria Mas Chacón has a degree in Chemistry, specializing in Industrial Techniques, from the University of Barcelona. She was born in Reus 50 years ago, and she is the mother of two daughters. She has spent her professional career at Repsol. Her career began in 1987, at the company Paular, and from there, as the result of a merger, she moved to Repsol Chemicals.

She has held various positions in research, processes, environment and production. These include research technician in Madrid and Tarragona, process engineer in the area of public service companies, the head of energy and physical control, the PEAD plant, the SM / OP plant, cogeneration / utilities and intermediate Production Manager. She held the position of Production Management of Repsol Chemicals in Tarragona from 2008 to 2013, and since then has been Engineering and Development Manager of the Repsol industrial complex in Tarragona. Since 2011, she has been a member of the Board of Directors of TDESA and since 2012 she has presided over the Board of Trustees of the CTQ foundation (Chemical Technology Centre of Catalonia).
