MASTER IN NANOSCIENCE, MATERIALS AND PROCESSES: Chemical Technology at the Frontier

Presentation 

The aim of this programme is to train new professionals specialised in the field of Nanothecnology, Materials and Chemical Engineering (coming from undergraduate degrees in any of the branches of experimental sciences and technologies: Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Physics, Quantum Chemistry, Biological Chemistry, Microbiology,...) with a clear orientation towards research. The skills acquired qualify the students to join universities, research institutes, industry and services that have a stron sense of innovation and development, as well as with an entrepreneurial vision.

The Master has been awarded with the distinctive recognition "International Master's Programme" issued by the AGAUR, the Agency for Management of University Grants and Research of the Generalitat de Catalunya.This award recognizes the degree of internationalization of the masters program and, at the same time, it gives boost to its international promotion.

The Master Programme offers six positions to perform the final master project (6 months) at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Northeastern University, Boston MA USA.

Our students come from undergraduate studies in all branches of experimental sciences and technologies (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Physics, Quantum Chemistry, Pharmacy, Microbiology...) and health sciences.

SCHOLARSHIPS

The Master programme provides scholarships to pre-inscribed candidates. Ten of them amount 6.700 €/year for international students (about 3.000 € corresponding to tuition fees plus about 3.700 € for living expenses). There are also offered six scholarships for national students (the tuition fee is waived).
